Title: Discussion and action on a Resolution authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to effectuate the purchase and closing of real property, consisting of approximately 24 acres of land located within El Paso County, described as a portion of the S/2 NW/4 of Section 17, Block 79, Township 3, T & P RR Surveys, El Paso County, Texas, for the purchase price of $8,900,000. Further, the City Manager or designee is authorized to: (1) execute a Contract of Sale with Samaniego Joint Venture for the purchase of the property, (2) sign any and all documents related and/or necessary to effectuate the purchase and closing of the property, (3) exercise all rights and obligations as provided in the Contract of Sale, (4) sign any documents necessary to effectuate any rights or obligations in relation to the purchase and closing of the property, and (5) make any necessary budget transfers to effectuate the intent of this Resolution.
