Award Summary:
Request that the City Manager be authorize to sign a Consulting and Planning Services Agreement between the City of El Paso and David Pettit Economic Development, LLC (“Contractor”), for Contractor to provide consulting and planning services related to Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones and Public Improvement Districts within the City of El Paso, for a term of 2 years, with the option to extend for an additional 2 years for an aggregated amount not to exceed $355,000.00, including reimbursements for expenses not to exceed $7,500.00.
Contract Variance:
The difference in price, based on comparison to the previous contract is as follows: An increase of $55,000.00 for the initial term, which represents a 20% increase due to an expanded scope of services that includes professional consulting services to complement upcoming corridor studies and on-call consulting services.
