Discussion and action on a Resolution that declares the expenditure of District 7 discretionary funds in an amount not to exceed $2,250 to be used towards funding the registration cost of the 2023 National Neighborhoods USA conference, $150 for each of the Presidents or designees attending of Recognized Neighborhood and Civic Associations in District 7, (Holmsley Trail, Las Palmas, Lomaland, Mission Valley, Penrose, Playa, Pueblo Viejo, Save the Valley 21, Sunnyfields, Travis White, Valle de las Misiones, YTP Association, Corridor 20, Thomas Manor, Yucca) serves a municipal purpose of cultivating an environment conducive to strong, economic development, promoting the visual image of El Paso, enhancing El Paso’s quality of life and nurturing and promoting a healthy, sustainable community.
