BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION:
Discussion of the what, why, where, when, and how to enable Council to have reasonably complete description of he contemplated action. This should include attachment of bid tabulation, or ordinance or resolution if appropriate. What are the benefits to the City of this action? What are the citizen concerns?
The El Paso International Airport is designing pavement improvements that will bring the taxiway geometry at the north cargo buildings into compliance with current FAA design standards. Included as part of the project are the removal of existing taxiway connectors and the installation of two new connectors. The new connectors will remove direct access from the ramp to Runway 4-22.
