Title: That the City Manager, or designee, is authorized to sign an Advance Funding Agreement by and between the City of El Paso and the State of Texas, acting by and through the Texas Department of Transportation ("Department"), for the design, construction, and installation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) at the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) and Zaragoza International Ports of Entry ("Project"). The Project has an estimated total project cost of $18,000,000.00. The Department will pay $17,904,000.00 from the Texas Mobility Fund ("TMF") to the Local Government for a portion of the Project. The Department's direct cost is an estimated amount of $96,000.00, which is the balance between the payment from the TMF and the total project cost. Further, that the City Manager, or designee, is authorized to sign all documents, agreement amendments, and perform all actions required to carry out the obligations of the City under this agreement.
