Title: That the City Manager or designee is authorized to submit the State Homeland Security Program grant application number 3221405 for the project titled "El Paso-Urban Area Planner" through the Texas Office of the Governor including all related paperwork, including but not limited to, authorization of budget transfers, and/or revisions to the operation plan, and to accept, reject, amend, correct, and/or terminate the grant in the amount of $55,473.94 for the period from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022 for an Emergency Management Specialist; and that the City of El Paso shall provide all applicable matching funds for said grant if applicable; and that in the event of loss or misuse of the grant funds, the City of El Paso assures that it will return the funds to the Office of the Governor in full.
