BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION:
Discussion of the what, why, where, when, and how to enable Council to have reasonably complete description of he contemplated action. This should include attachment of bid tabulation, or ordinance or resolution if appropriate. What are the benefits to the City of this action? What are the citizen concerns?
Ballpark lease agreement references five (5) year capital maintenance plan to be submitted and approved and updated on periodic basis. The lease agreement requires that the facility be maintained at a high standard to comply with Triple A baseball requirements. The Tenant (Mountain Star Sports Group) has submitted an updated plan and is requesting consideration and approval. Funding for capital maintenance is through City funding with utilization of lease revenue set aside for capital maintenance. Initial five (5) year capital maintenance plan approved by City Council February 28, 2017.
